In this video I painted the second batch of retro Tyranids, the models are all from the first edition: the Scream Killer Carnifex and the Hormogaunt in lead, the Genestealer and the Tyranid Warrior in plastic from Space Hulk and Space Crusade.
Ironically, I tried to bring a famous YouTube short “If cleaning was a timed sport” format into the miniature painting space, while also poking fun at the community’s apparent obsession with speed painting, slap chop, and similar techniques.
While digging through my old Warhammer 40K collection, I found 8 Tyranids and Genestealers. I decided to paint them in the classic colors, purple and pink. The models in the video are mainly from the Advanced Space Crusade and Space Hulk board game.

In this video I speed painted a 3D printed Chaos Knight from “Rage Craft” using 3 main colors (red, purple, yellow) mixed with white or black for contrast and shading.
I painted an old set of Rackham Confrontaton ghost miniatures.
I wanted to try the slapchop technique on some easy to paint models, the skeleton and the ghost seemed like the right choice.
The Rackham Confrontaton was an alternative game to warhammer in the late 90s.
