Tiny Epic Dungeons Unboxing and Strategy Tips
Tiny Epic Dungeons is a brutal game, a dangerous dungeon crawler; if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. It’s also amazing how such a small box can hold so many pieces and deliver so much fun.

The Fighter’s Challenge.
I’ve brought back a true classic from the golden age of Dungeons & Dragons — the original TSR module “Fighter’s Challenge II”, now fully adapted for D&D 5e!
I’ve decided to take a leap and open a gaming club — a place where people who love RPGs, board games, and miniature games can come together, play, and share great moments.
Regardless, I’ve decided to use the latest version of D&D (Fifth Edition, released in 2024) as my core roleplaying system. The contrast between old-school RPG players (often linked to OSR culture — “Old School Revival/Renaissance”) and modern younger players (especially 5e-era newcomers) goes much deeper than just rules: it reflects differences in philosophy, playstyle, and expectations.
My opinion is definitive. After several sessions as both player and DM, I believe the latest D&D 5th Edition deploys overpowered characters, classes with silly abilities, and spellcasting is a commodity available to almost everyone.
Old-school players grew up with a different mindset. Back then, the game was a test of ingenuity and survival. Your character was fragile, the world was dangerous, and your success depended more on player skill than on numbers on a sheet. You didn’t solve a problem by rolling dice but by describing clever tactics, probing for details, and taking real risks. Death was always possible, but that made every victory meaningful.
This is 2 (max 3) sessions, a ghost story full of mystery, deception, stealth and investigation.
The party is hired to retrieve an item from a heavily guarded mansion; your protector will have you sneak inside as guards, giving you the opportunity to interact with the mansion’s staff, uncovering the house’s secrets, locating and retrieving the item.
Despite the title, this is not a dungeon crawler thing.
It begins immediately after the “Save the Royal Messenger”, it includes decision making, mystery, role-playing, and epic battles. Your decisions will directly impact the future of the continent.
